Wireless Networks

What a wireless network can do for your company

Wireless networks provide flexible working environments for mobile users, and a data cable free environment for static workstations, ideal for hassle free installation and perfect for use in environments where cabling is not an option.

If you want to surf the internet from your back garden at home, or provide anywhere network access in your office for your colleagues and clients, a wireless network infrastructure is the ideal choice for you.

How a wireless network works

A transmitter/receiver called a Wireless Access Point (WAP) is placed in the office. Laptops, PCs etc have a wireless adapter installed and are setup to connect to the the WAP. The wireless network can be connected to the existing cabled network if required, or exist on its own.

Benefits of a wireless network

  • Low cost - avoid the costs and hassle of installing cabling throughout your office

  • Mobile - mobile users can move around the office and still keep their network connection active

  • Flexible - move computers around the office, or add systems to your network with ease

  • Compatibility - add wireless compatible laptops, PCs, PDAs and other devices to your network

Network XP Consultancy Ltd have installed and supported wireless networks for a number of companies, and have experience in a wide range of products. Network XP will supply and install all wireless network hardware and software.
