What a wireless network can do for your company
Wireless networks provide flexible working
environments for mobile users, and a data cable free environment for
static workstations, ideal for hassle free installation and perfect
for use in environments where cabling is not an option.
If you want to surf the internet from your
back garden at home, or provide anywhere network access in your office for
your colleagues and clients, a wireless network infrastructure is
the ideal choice for you.
How a wireless network works
A transmitter/receiver called a
Wireless Access Point (WAP) is placed in the office. Laptops, PCs
etc have a wireless adapter installed and are setup to connect to
the the WAP. The wireless network can be connected
to the existing cabled network if required, or exist on its own.
